Five killed in accident

SUKKUR, Aug 19: Five people were killed and 45 others injured when a Sehwan-bound passenger coach overturned at Sarhad bypass near Mirpur Mathelo, Ghotki district, on Tuesday.

Carrying devotees from Faisalabad, the coach was going to Sehwan. When it reached Sarhad bypass, the overspeeding coach went out of control of the driver and overturned.

Those killed were identified as Waseem, Nek Mohammad, Riaz Hussain, Hasnain Khokhar and Chiragh Din.

The injured were taken to Mirpur Mathelo and Ghotki hospitals from where four of them were taken to Rahim Yar Khan due to their critical condition.
