Provident fund rates notified
ISLAMABAD, Aug 19: The government has notified provident fund subscription rates for civil servants on the basis of revised basic pay scales announced in the 2008-9 federal budget. According to a notification issued by the finance ministry, the minimum rate of general provident fund subscription for employees of pay scale B-1 will be 3 per cent and for BPS 1-11 5 per cent.—Staff Reporter
