Diabetic dies after eating sweets

SIALKOT, Aug 18: A large number of people celebrated the resignation of Pervez Musharraf across Punjab on Monday.

Political activists and lawyers came out of their houses and offices and distributed sweets.

The celebrations however proved fatal for a diabetic from Sambrial town who consumed too much sweets.

Reports said the sugar level of Bashir Ahmad (65) shot up and resulted in a massive heart attack. He died on the spot.
