Probationers begin study tour

LARKANA, Aug 15: A group of 22 probationers of 35th Common Training Programme (CTP) hailing from Sindh, Punjab and the NWFP provinces arrived here from the Civil Services Academy Walton on three study tours on Friday.

Ghulam Murtaza Shaikh, conducting officer said that 13 were from Punjab, four from Sindh, and three from the NWFP along with two academy officers.

They held detailed meeting with the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Larkana Abdul Aziz Uqaili and visited the district government’s secretariat. The DCO briefed the group about historical, political, cultural and social back ground of Larkana and Mohenjodaro.

The group would visit Mohenjodaro, Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto and other important places and attend receptions and briefings during their stay till 18th of this month.
