HYDERABAD: ‘Save country instead of impeaching Musharraf’

Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, Aug 15: The former adviser to the Sindh chief minister, Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur, has said the country is facing many crises and advised rulers to try to save the country instead of impeaching President Pervez Musharraf.

He was talking to journalists at Mir Garden Tando Mohammad Khan on Friday.

He claimed that the previous government had taken a number of steps for the development of the country but the incumbent government had made Pakistan bankrupt only in four months.

Due to price hike, rampant unemployment and lawlessness, the poor people were forced to commit suicides, Mir Ali Nawaz said.

He said the people of Sindh had voted for People’s Party following the martyrdom of Ms Benazir Bhutto but the rulers had totally forgotten her mission.

He urged the government to provide some relief to the poor people by reducing price hike and unemployment.
