KARACHI: Seminar on DNA testing

KARACHI, Aug 14: A seminar on “Forensic DNA testing concepts and use by law enforcing agencies and jurists” is being held on Saturday under the aegis of the Dr A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, University of Karachi, and the National Commission of Biotechnology.

The concluding session of the seminar will be presided over by KU Vice-Chancellor Prof Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui. More than 100 participants from the Sindh Police, Directorate of Chemical Examiner and Police Surgeon Karachi are to attend the seminar.—PPI
