Adil crowned champion
LAHORE, Aug 13: Adil Ahmed defeated Raja Hasnain to win the Independence Day boys’ badminton final at the New Hall here on Wednesday.
The three-day event was organised by the Punjab Badminton Association.
Adil won 21-16, 21-18.
In doubles’ final, Raja Hasnain, pairing with Inzamam-ul-Haq, defeated Ali Murtaza-Adil 22-20, 21-16.
Fatima Iqbal outclassed Arooba 21-10, 21-18 to win girls’ singles final. Nabiha-Rabea beat Fatima-Arooba 21-18, 21-17 to win doubles’ title.—Sports Reporter
