KARACHI, Aug 6: Four ships scheduled to load/offload containers, chemicals, iron ore and palm oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours

Meanwhile, four more ships carrying containers, chemicals and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Eight ships, Maersk Missouri, QSM Dubai, Leopard-B, Ocean Beauty, Sinar Agra, Jin Vi, Royal Jasper and Sea Lion, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, rice, chemicals, iron ore, palm oil and furnace oil.

A cargo volume of 102,000 metric tons comprising 80,000 tons of import and 22,000 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Shrike, Maersk Missouri and Sinar Agra sailed out while Ocean Beauty, Royal Jasper and Sea Lion were expected to leave the port.
