By Our Correspondent

MITHI, Aug 5: The fired employees of National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) of Tharparkar district took out a rally on Tuesday in protest against their sacking.

Protester blocked the main road at Kashmir Chowk and after marching on different roads reached the press club.

Leaders alleging the PPP said that though it won with heavy mandate on the promise of roti, kapra aur makaan but it was doing the opposite by firing 80,000 employees from the NCHD — the blackest chapter in party’s history.

The NCHD authorities sacked 400 employees from Tharparkar district, resultantly 11,000 enrolled students faced bleak future and families at the throes of starvation as their bread earners were now jobless alleged the protesters.
