Court order against PCB

By Our Sports Reporter

LAHORE, Aug 4: A civil court judge has issued orders to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to not take any illegal or unlawful action against two office-bearers of the Pakistan Deaf Cricket Association (PDCA).

An order issued by civil judge Iftikhar Ahmad said: “Defendants shall not take any illegal and unlawful action against the plaintiff.

“This order shall not affect any legal proceedings or order passed by any competent authority/court.

“If this order is not extended on 10.9.2008, it shall cease to have any effect further, automatically.”

The plaintiff are Mohammad Raza Rafi Awan, secretary PDCA and Mohammad Waqas, finance secretary PDCA.

In their petition, they prayed to the court that since they are elected office-bearers of the association, a decree for declaration and permanent injunction with consequential relief be passed for not removing the plaintiff illegally or unlawfully.
