Villagers block highway
SUKKUR, Aug 4: A large number of people staged a demonstration and a sit-in on the National Highway near Ubauro on Monday, in protest against police for releasing a man accused of killing their relative who was murdered by thieves a day ago in Gul Mohammad Chijjan village.
Reports said that the armed thieves opened fire on Anwar Chijjan, killing him on the spot, when he resisted their attempt to steal away buffaloes.
