His father, Abdur Rasheed, who hailed from Sawabi, told police that his son left his Malir City residence for a video game club in the vicinity on Saturday night. The police said that the family mounted learnt about his death through a news channel.

The family reached the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where the body was shifted for a post-mortem examination.

Hospital sources said the victim received four to five bullets, one of them to his head, from a point blank range as all the bullets pierced through the body. They said the victim was tortured before he was shot dead.
