Farhan stuns Hee to reach quarters

KARACHI, Aug 2: Unseeded Pakistan’s Farhan Mehboob reached quarter-finals of the Petrosport International Championship after upsetting seventh seed Malaysia’s Ong Beng Hee at the $140,000 PSA Super Series Platinum squash event at the Sky Club in Cairo.

World no. 33 Farhan lost the first game 9-11 but made a strong comeback to win the next three games 11-8, 11-9, 11-8 in the 85-minute battle.

The 19-year-old will face Egypt’s Karim Darwish in the quarter-final.
