Two convicts executed

GUJRANWALA, July 31: Two condemned prisoners involved in separate murder cases were hanged in the central jail here on Thursday.

According to the prosecution, Mushtaq of Lohianwala had killed his wife Razia over some domestic issue on Jan 26, 1998. While Akram of Wazirabad had killed shopkeeper Azam over a minor issue on June 16, 2000.

The jail authority handed the bodies over to their heirs.
