Wasa told to desilt drains
LAHORE, July 27: Lahore Development Authority Director General Irfan Ali has asked Water and Sanitation Agency Managing Director Dr Javed Iqbal to ensure desilting of all major drains in the city in the next three days.
The LDA chief has issued the directions in view of rain forecast by the meteorological department.
He said the machinery provided by Japan should be used in desilting. —Reporter
