SUKKUR, July 26: Armed men shot dead a woman and a man on the pretext of karo-kari in village Saifal Magsi, in Dera Sarki police limits, near Kandhkot on Saturday.
Gaman Jaffery suspected that his wife, Bhagul, was having an affair with Dadan Jaffery. Gaman Jaffery along with his accomplices shot both of them dead and fled.

DROWNED: A minor girl drowned in a pond in Hazoor Bux Junejo village near Pir Jo Goth on Saturday.
Ranjhan Junejo, 7, Abdul Wahid Junejo, 6, and Majida Junejo, 5, were swimming in the pond when the girl drowned.
On the children’s cry the villagers came to rescue and managed to save Ranjhan and Wahid but Majida Junejo had died.
