Truck kills prisoner inside jail
RAWALPINDI, July 25: An under-trial prisoner was killed after being run over by a truck inside the Adiala Jail on Friday, police said.
Gulfaraz Mehmood had been arrested by the Airport police in a murder case on June 24.
The incident occurred when the truck was coming out of the jail after unloading bags of flour. The injured was removed to the jail hospital where he was pronounced dead. The truck driver Mohammad Ijaz has been arrested.—Staff Reporter
