Clarification
A report on a press conference by Begum Bilqees Akram, Head of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur (Dawn, May 19, 2008), inadvertently carried the headline “BI&SE chief admits matric papers leak”.
In actuality, besides briefing the participants on arrangements about the Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2008, the Board chairperson, in response to a question on the subject, had vehemently denied the leakage of any paper of matriculation examination or cancellation thereof on account of such a leakage.
