KARACHI, July 24: Two ships carrying containers and chemicals were accommodated berths on Wednesday, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage. Seven ships, San Andres, Maersk Georgia, Navision Bulker, Santa Fe, Monique, Chemstar Ace and Merbabu, were busy in loading and unloading containers, clinker, cement, rice, chemicals and crude oil.

A cargo volume of 38,781 tons comprising 19,480 tons of import and 19,301 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Maersk Georgia, San Andres, Chemstar Ace and Merbabu sailed out.
