KARACHI, July 23: The provincial transport department is likely to issue the notification regarding new fares of public transport on Thursday.

This was stated by President of the Karachi Transport Action Committee Ashraf Banglori while talking to PPI on Wednesday.

He pointed out that the earlier notification effecting a Rs2 hike in fares had already been withdrawn, and the fresh notification allowing a Rs3 hike would supersede it.—PPI
