‘4,000 workers face cases’

THATTA, July 22: Pakistan Muslim League-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and general secretary Mushahid Hussain said on Tuesday that the rulers had implicated over 4,000 PML leaders and activists in fake cases throughout Sindh.

They said at a press conference at Shirazi House on Tuesday that the PPP had come to power only after compromising with and bowing to “real authorities”.

They said that their silence should not be taken as weakness and predicted that the PPP government was bound to be wound up much before its tenure if it continued foul play.

They said that the situation was going from bad to worst and the poor were compelled to sell their children in open bazaars and Edhi homes and committing suicide over inflation and record rise in fuel prices.

The party had miserably failed in honouring its promises with people and the slogan of ‘Roti, Kapra aur Makan’ was turning into a joke. Shirazi brothers would fight tooth and nail for the legitimate rights of their area, they said.
