Robbers raid ghee warehouse

LAHORE, July 21: Robbers looted edible ghee and oil worth hundreds of thousands from a warehouse in Amna Park, Hunjarwal, on Monday, police said.

Eight robbers entered the warehouse of Tahir Mehmood, held employees at gunpoint, snatched a pick up loaded with ghee besides heaps of oil canisters lying in the warehouse and escaped.

Elsewhere, two robbers stormed into the house of Ahsan Ali in Mohafiz Town and took away Rs25,500 and jewellery worth thousands.

STREET CRIME: Four robbers looted Rs15,000 and a mobile phone from Zubair Hasan in Khalid Park in the jurisdiction of Shafeeqabad police.

Two robbers took away a two-tola bracelet from Ejaz Ahmed and his wife in limits of South Cantonment police.
