MITHI: Two traders kidnapped

MITHI, July 19: Armed bandits kidnapped two traders on Kaloi-Naukot road in the jurisdiction of Diplo police station when they returning to Naukot on a motorcycle late on Friday night.

Reports reaching here said that Vikram Lohana, 23, and Tahal Lohana, 40, on their way to Naukot after closing their shops in Satoon Mail Mori when some armed men kidnapped them.

The traders observed a shutter-down strike in Mithi on Saturday evening and held a rally in protest against the traders’ kidnapping. Chairman of Vapari Association Mithi Tilok Chand said that the kidnapping had increased sense of insecurity among traders community.—BoC
