OKARA, July 18: A woman and her teenage brother were kidnapped for ransom on Friday, police said.
Six people kidnapped Perveen Bibi, wife of Muhammad Bilal, and her brother, Munir Ahmad, 15, at gunpoint from the railway level crossing of 3/4-L in a car. Later, captors called their father Abdul Sattar and demanded a Rs500,000 ransom for their release, warning in case of not paying the amount the kidnapped people would be killed.
