RAWALPINDI, July 18: A woman was stabbed to death by her husband in Islamabad while a teenage boy was electrocuted in Morgah on Friday, police said.

Nargis Bibi, a mother of four, was critically injured after being stabbed by her husband in Bhara Kahu. The woman was shifted to Federal Government Services Hospital where she died.

Police said Mehrban Khan, the woman’s husband, was suspicious of her character. On the day of the incident, he had a quarrel with his wife during which he stabbed her. The police arrested the accused and also seized the murder weapon.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old boy was electrocuted in Morgah.

Mohammad Farooq was passing through the street when he saw some electric wires lying on the ground. As he tried to remove them, he got electrocuted.
