The proposal was made during a meeting between Federal Minister for Housing and Works Rehmatullah Kakar and Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mashallah Shakeri here on Friday. They discussed bilateral cooperation in different sectors, including housing and construction sectors.

The minister informed the ambassador about the construction of one million houses for government employees under the prime minister’s ‘Houses for All’ programme, adding that six other projects would soon be launched in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Multan and Larkana.

The minister as well as the ambassador said cooperation between both countries would open new avenues.
