EOBI collections

KARACHI, July 17: The board of trustees of Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution has enhanced the contribution collection to Rs8 billion per annum instead of proposed Rs7.152 billion for the current financial year following amendment in the EOB Act 1976.

The BOT, which met here was informed that the revised collection contribution of Rs5.76 billion was achieved by the EOBI during 2007-08.

The meeting was informed that the proposed EOBI

Fund shall be Rs154.104 billion for 2008-09, while Revised EOBI Fund figure stood at Rs131.951 Billion for 2007-08.—APP
