KARACHI, July 17: Three ships carrying containers, crude oil and to load clinker are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships, Manora Naree, Bsle Express and Ati Antica, bulk carriers, Bruce Park, tanker, Anna-E, APL Pusan and Hyundai Admiral to unload and load containers and Siam Pearl to offload and load general cargo were berthed.

APL Cairo, Buxlagoon, Sima Sahba, Super Star-2, Quasar, CEF Concord and B.B.C, Spain sailed out while APL Pusan, Tug Mb Ural, Tug Iriysh, Lucky Arrow, Hyundai Admiral, Oel Transworld, Fu Ning Hai, Aquamarine-1 and Soraya are expected to sail out on Friday.

A total tonnage of 89,408 tons comprising 46,059 tons of export cargo and 43,349 tons of import tonnage was handled on Thursday.

The following ships are due ton Friday: Quetta, with crude oil, Hanjin Qingdao, with containers and Shaheen Al-Ghanim-10 to load clinker.
