Zulfiqar slams Century

KARACHI, July 16: Opener Zulfiqar P. Khan smashed a quickfire century to help Aga Khan Gymkhana ‘A’ beat Saleem Jaffer Friends by 78 runs in the All-Karachi Friendship Cricket League at the AKG Ground here the other day.

Zulfiqar blasted an unbeaten 108 off only 62 balls as the hosts scored 218 for five in their 25 overs. The opener’s knock contained eight fours and four sixes.

In reply, the visitors, led by former Test pacer and current national selector Saleem Jaffer, were restricted to 140-9.
