GPO manager, two clerks booked

ISLAMABAD, July 16: The city police have registered a case against the manager and two clerks of General Post Office of Islamabad for breach of trust, police said here on Wednesday.

The police said Naveed Anjum lodged a complaint with Aabpara police station, stating that the officials of GPO stole his mobile phone which was sent by mail.

In his statement he said that a package, including the mobile phone was sent to him from Australia and upon arrival at GPO the phone was missing.

The police said the complainant got the package weight as he found its weight light as mentioned in the slip. On suspicion he checked the package and found the phone missing.

The police registered a case on charge of PPC409/34 and started investigation.
