Aisam enters doubles final in US

LAHORE, July 13: Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq with his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna entered ATP World Championship’s doubles final at grass court of the Hall of Fame Club in Newport, USA.

They overcame Rik De Voest (South Africa) and Ashley Fisher (Australia) 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (11-9).

The duo will face America’s Mardy Fish and John Isner in the final. Aisam and Bopanna had defeated the Afro-American pair of Kevin Anderson and James Cerretani 7-6 (8-6), 3-7, 7-6 (9-7) in the quarter-final.
