Two killed in accident

SAHIWAL, July 13: Two car riders were killed and another sustained serious injuries in an accident near Yousafwal on Lahore-Multan motorway on Sunday morning.

Reports said that a car, heading towards Lahore from Sukkur, hit a truck from the rear. Resultantly, Muhammad Mumtaz and Faiz Muhammad died on the spot while Rizwan received serious injuries.

The Motorway police shifted the injured to a Lahore hospital in critical condition. An eyewitness said the accident occurred because the car driver fell asleep.
