KHAR: ‘Spies’ to be executed publicly: militants

KHAR, July 13: A militant organisation in the Bajaur tribal region has announced rigorous punishment for alleged US spies saying that they would be executed publicly.

Qari Saifullah of the Tehreek Jaish-i-Islami told journalists by phone here on Sunday that his organisation had released video tape of two accused being executed in Bajaur region recently. He claimed that both persons had confessed that were spying for the US. The Qari said that they would not allow people to spy for Americans for few dollars and spies would be awarded rigorous punishment.

He said that his organisation would continue struggle for the “glory of Islam and withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan and other Islamic countries”. He said that jihad was compulsory for all Muslims.
