KARACHI, July 13: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) will notify results of SSC part-II (Class-X) General group on Monday, according to an announcement by the board’s controller of examinations.

Around 300,000 students appeared in the SSC part-I and II annual examinations conducted in April.

The official said that the SSC part-II Science group results would also be announced within this month.

Meanwhile, the controller of examinations, Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE), has announced that an inter-provincial conference of the board’s controllers of examinations will commence here on Monday.

Prof Siraj-ul-Islam Bukhari said that a uniform policy for the conduct of technical and vocational education in the country would be formulated at the two-day conference.

SBTE Chairman M. Saeed Siddiqui will inaugurate the conference, which will also decide a uniform policy for granting grace marks and take decisions on other issues including attendance and promotion rules for DAE, DCom, DBA and TSE courses and amendments to rules for a uniform policy and criterion.—APP
