PNSC gets new vessel

KARACHI, July 11: The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has acquired first modern double hull oil tanker, MT Quetta.

The vessel, after loading crude oil, is expected to reach Karachi on its maiden voyage under PNSC flag on July 17-18. It was handed over to officials in Fujairah on Thursday.

Built in 2003, MT Quetta is 107,215 metric tons deadweight double hull Aframax oil tanker having a length of 247 metres with a beam of 42 metres, says a press release.
