Course on fisheries

KARACHI, July 10: The Sindh Fisheries Development Board (FDB) is preparing a master plan for coastal and inland aquaculture and for strengthening of capacity building of fisheries management.

FDB Director Mirza Tehmasp Baig stated this while inaugurating a two-week advance training course on marine shrimp hatchery management under the supervision of foreign experts here on Thursday.

A press release of Pakistan Fisheries Research Institute says the course is being attended by businessmen of fish trade and industry, fish farmers from Sindh and Balochistan and research scientists and officials from PCSIR, PARC, Sindh fisheries department, Balochistan Fisheries Board, Marine Fisheries.
