ISLAMABAD, July 9: Three delegations of tribal elders from Khyber, Kurram and Mohmand agencies called on the Adviser to Prime Minister on Religious Affairs, Mr Hamid Saeed Kazmi, on Wednesday and called for the formation of a grand tribal jirga for resolving all issues in a peaceful manner.

Mr Kazmi assured the delegations that their suggestions would be brought to the notice of the prime minister. Expressing reservations over the operation in Fata, members of the delegations urged the government to end the operation which could not solve any issue.—APP
