Referring to the decisions taken at a recent meeting presided over by Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the chief secretary said the campaign against hoarders and profiteers should be made result-oriented.
He stressed that the implementation of the government’s price list be ensured so that people could get flour, sugar, ghee, pulses and all such commodities at a reasonable price.
The chief secretary called for close coordination between all the concerned-departments, including police, Bureau of Prices and Supplies and revenue department.
Acting upon public complaints, he issued directives for checking prices of meat, milk, vegetables and fruit.
