KARACHI, July 9: Six ships carrying containers, coal and to load cement and molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where six ships, Timos Stavors to load clinkers, Mare Thrccium, Cape Negro and Northern Harmony to unload and load containers, Iron Butterfly to offload and load general cargo and M-3 Susanne, an oil tanker, were berthed.

Sailing was also active as half a dozen ships, Sinar Bintan, Bunga Teratai-4, Loa, Lucky Man, Johar and Blida departed, while APL Dalian, Cape Negro, Mare Tharccium, Global Prosperity, Timos Stavors, M-3 Susanne, Sunrise Lilac, and Super Star-3 are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 83,879 tons comprising 42,879 tons of export tonnage and 41,782 tons of import cargo was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Aquar Marine-1 to load 29,800 tons of molasses, Creek, Kota Express and Hangin Chittagong with containers, Navision Bulker with coal and Red Sea Spirit to load 18,000 tons of cement.
