Clerks protest against low salaries

JACOBABAD, July 8: The All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA) took out a rally against low salaries, price hike and law and order situation in Jacobabad on Tuesday.

The rally started from the APCA office and after marching on different roads culminated outside the press club where they staged sit-in.

Protesters chanted slogans against price-hike, law and order situation and low salaries of clerks.

Nek Mohammad Talani, Khairal Jatt, Azeem Thaheem and others said that the government was paying very low salaries, while 30 per cent increase had been witnessed in the prices of daily consumer items hence making impossible for poor people to survive.
