Villagers want occupied land back

By Our Correspondent

NAWABSHAH, July 8: People of Manik Jamali village have demanded of the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Sindh and other concerned to direct police to get back their land from the grabbers.

Altaf Jamali, Saheb Khan Jamali and Ali Madad Jamali speaking during a press conference said that they purchased 28 acres of agriculture land from Ali Mohammad Mallah some seven years ago which was also sold to one Taj Mohammad Zardari. On coming to know of the factual position, they filed a case in the court against the owner and produced all legal documents and decree papers.

They said the case was under trial, but on Tuesday, Taj Mohammad Zardari along with dozens of people attacked their village and resorted to firing to grab land.

They alleged the SHO Taluka police station Khadim Hussain Zardari threatened to implicate them in fake cases if the land was not vacated.
