Basketball title for Islamabad
PESHAWAR, July 7: Islamabad clinched the title of women basketball event in the Paralympic Games being played at the City Centre Hall, Abbottabad, on Monday.
In the women basketball final, Islamabad defeated Lahore 18-14.
In men’s badminton semi-final (physically handicap) Shahid of Bannu defeated Saad of Abbottabad 21-14, 21-13.
In the second semi-final, Akram of Bannu defeated Aqeel of Abbottabad 21-16, 21-18.
