LARKANA, July 7: Sassui Bhutto, daughter of Z.A. Bhutto’s youngest son late Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto, applied for her Computerised National Identity Card at the local office of Nadra in Ratodero on Monday.

Ms Sassui, accompanied by Ghinwa Bhutto, her aunt and chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party-Shaheed Bhutto, and her cousins Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Junior and Fatima Bhutto, arrived at the Nadra office and filled in an ‘urgent’ form for the CNIC.

She gave Al-Murtaza House Larkana as her permanent residence address, and 70-Clifton Karachi as temporary address. Her form says her mother tongue was ‘Sindhi’ and her date of birth was 24 August 1982.

Before coming to the Nadra office, she visited Mirpur Bhutto, native village of Mumtaz Ali Bhutto where they had lunch with the family members of Mumtaz Ali Bhutto.

She also visited a school for deaf and dumb near People’s Stadium in Larkana and remained there for sometime. The school staff presented them traditional gifts of Ajrak and Sindhi cap while people gathered there raised slogans ‘Zindah hai Bhutto zindah hai’.
