NAWABSHAH, July 7: Journalists of Nawabshah took out a rally and staged demonstration outside DPO office to protest against police failure to arrest accused involved in the attack on a journalist, on Monday. The rally stared from the press club and culminated at DPO office. The protesters carried placards and raised slogans against the police.

Journalists, Mohammad Anwar Shaikh, Azeem Unnar, Syed Naban Shah and Syed Ali Mohammad Shah met the DPO and informed him that a journalist of Daulatpur, Ali Nawaz Junejo, was attacked and beaten up by accused and even after lodging of a complaint, no action was taken. DPO ordered suspension of investigation officer Zulfiqar Ali Siyal and constituted a committee to reinvestigate the case.
