CHITRAL, July 6: The three-day Shandur polo festival will commence today (Monday) in Shandur, the highest polo ground of the world.

The polo teams of Chitral-C and Gilgit-C will meet each other in the inaugural match of the festival. Foreign tourists are thronging Chitral to proceed to Shandur, which is about 150 kilometers of here.

NWFP Chief Minister

Ameer Haider Khan Hoti will be the chief guest at the final match which will be played on July 9.
