KOHAT, July 5: Two people including a child were killed, while one was injured when two families clashed over a petty issue in Shaheedano Banda area here on Friday night, police said.The members of the two families of Union Council Tappi exchanged harsh words over some issue, which led to the fighting.

During the firing, one Rafique and a ten-year-old boy Farooq and were killed, whereas one Nasrullah received bullet injuries.

The DPO sent a quick response team to the area, which stopped the firing between the groups and arrested Akhtar Khan, Khaista Khan, Abdus Sattar, Rehmat Khan and Nasrullah along with a shot gun and a pistol.The Saddar police initiated investigations into the case after registering the FIR against the two groups.
