HYDERABAD, July 4: A judge of Anti-Terrorism Court here on Friday refused bail application of former Sindh minister Altaf Unnar in an attempted murder case on the grounds that sufficient material was on record to link him with the offence.

The bail of co-accused Misri Khoso has also been rejected.

The case against the accused was lodged at Budhapur police station on the complaint of People’s Party MNA and sister of PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho.

The MNA allegedly came under fire during the by-elections on February 10, 2007, outside a polling station in Budhapur.
