KARACHI, July 4: Two container ships are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships, Hyundai Duke, Creek, Oel Tranworld with containers, Cos Glory to unload phosphate, Hearty Falcom to unload coal, Qiasar, Crigoroussa-1 and Vinashin Melody, tankers, were accommodated berths.

Two ships, APL Jeddah and Orient-2 sailed out on Friday, while China Star, Grigoroussa-1, Sari, Creek, Rio Ekuku, Lucky Arrow, Oel Transworld, Hyundai Duke, Qnasar, Vinashin Melody and Bolan are due to depart on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was on the higher side where a total tonnage of 125,000 tons comprising 25,947 tons of export and 98,501 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Oel Shreyas and Arnis with containers.
