Umar qualifies for pre-quarters

LAHORE, July 2: Umar Zeeshan, Wajid Ali, Atif Nadeem, Rizwan Azam, Rizwan Rana, M.Atiq, Amer Islam & Shabbar Hussain reached the pre-quarterfinals of the men’s singles at the Amir Abdullah Khan Rokhari Badminton tournament on Wednesday, after qualifying in Round 1. Their opponents will come from Round 2.

Umar Zeeshan bt Adnan Siddiqa 21-14, 21-9.

Atif Nadim (NBP) bt Shahid (RLY) 21-19, 21-11, Rizwan Azam bt Muneer Akram 21-12 21-14, Rizwan Rana bt Kashif Sulehri 21-19, 11-21, 21-17, M.Atiq bt Ali Nawab Dil 21-15, 21-15 and Wajid Ali bt Shoaib Hafees 21-11, 21-13.
