KARACHI: ‘860 lecturers to be regularised’


KARACHI, July 2: In order to regularise some 860 ad-hoc lecturers, Senior Minister for Education Pir Mazharul Haq has issued directives for sending a summary to the chief minister in this regard.

The directives came during his meeting with a delegation of the Sindh Professors and Lecturers Association (SPLA) which was led by its general-secretary, Liaquat Aziz, on Wednesday.

The delegation apprised the minister of the problems being faced by teachers and urged that ad-hoc lecturers be regularised.—PPI
